foundations of in_tensegrity
2016 I co-founded the company in_tensegrity – association for movement arts. We specialised in aerial counterweighting, pulley systems and mostly 1:1 rope counterweight.
the companys name is a word play of intension/in tension/intensive & ‘Tensegrity’ that has been coined by Buckminster Fuller and is a merge between tension and integrity. He used the underlying principles for architectural construction, and also in the dance world tensegrity once was a very common concept, since our bodies made of tense, rigid bone and soft, flexible tendons.
we created a contemporary circus piece called hochSpannung that premiered 2017 at Winterfest Sazburg.
